JO Qualifiers are done and Sam is going to JOs. Longhorn qualified four teams for the big tournament last weekend. A short update as mid-June passes by.
Southwest Zone Championships
Sam S. and her Longhorn 18u girls teammates went 2-3 to place sixth at this past weekends Zone Championships. With that result they will be going to California next month to participate at National Junior Olympics! Longhorn 18u boys placed fifth (best ever), 16u boys 7th, and 16u girls 3rd. All of them qualified for JOs. Congratulations to all of them. #CentralTexasWaterpoloRising
Roster Call, Southside Tournament
Southside is hosting Sun’s Out Guns Out on July 6-7. Registration will close next week for ages 10-18. We are not sending any teams to the Dallas Summer Classic this weekend.

- July 20-23: USAWP NJO’s Boys (Orange County, CA)
- July 25-28: USAWP NJO’s Girls (Orange County, CA)
- Aug 3-4: Titan Summer Spectacular (The Colony, TX)
- Aug 24-25: Zilla Beach Water Polo Tournament (Lake Travis, TX)
Masters Registration is Open
Registration for Masters water polo is now available via the club’s web site. Make sure to select “Masters Waterpolo – for age group: 18 & Over” from the list of registration groups.
At the completion of registration you’ll receive a confirmation email which will indicate that your application must be “approved.” This may take 24-48 hours but you will be approved. Share your USA Water Polo membership number in the appropriate field.
Charges are $50/month for unlimited scrimmages, a minimum of eight per month with additional ones when available.
