It’s with mixed feelings we announce that… school is nearly back in session. Yep, summer is basically over, which means we have an updated practice schedule! Plus, many have committed to the Zilla tourney, but we need more, both 14u and 18u athletes. Here comes the very busy fall season.
Practice Schedule
Beginning this week the practice schedule follows. There are plenty of exceptions for tournament days so be sure to consult the calendar:
Youth Athletes (age 14 and under)
- Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday from 10:00 AM to noon.
High School Athletes (ages 14-18, high school students)
- Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM (includes 90 minutes of scrimmage with masters beginning at noon).
Masters (age 18+)
- Saturday from noon to 1:30 PM
Masters Update
We are switching our masters scrimmages from Wednesdays to Saturdays, noon to 1:30 PM. Athletes are welcome to show up earlier to warm up. If you are not registered with AquaTex you can pay a drop-in fee of $10 on the deck (cash, Venmo, ApplePay, PayPal). A reminder that athletes in high school may not register for masters water polo, but those currently registered with AquaTex water polo or swim/polo are invited to join the masters scrimmages.

Zilla Beach Water Polo Tourney Roster Call
Final call for the Zilla tourney at Lake Travis on August 24-25. We are sending 18u and 14u teams, rosters of 5-9 athletes. Let Danny or Coach James know prior to the 16th, or log on and commit via the Team Unify site. It’s going to be a really fun tournament so check out the details here.

- Jan 18-19 Texas Dare to Dream Festival, TBD (12u & 10u only)

We want to look sharp whenever we travel as AquaTex so we request but don’t require our youth athletes to wear the AquaTex Waterpolo black t-shirt to all our competition. Click on the image at the bottom to order.
