Cammi Schaufelberger is AquaTex coaches’ choice for April Player of the Month.
She (regrettably) approaches the end of her AquaTex career after earning Most Valuable Player honors from TISCA HS Water Polo West Region coaches on April 23. She and her Round Rock HS teammates went on to win the program’s first ever match at Texas’ high school water polo championships on Saturday, a 10-8 win over Clear Creek after a two goal loss to Marcus in the opening round. She finished the tournament with five goals.
Cammi joined us in September of 2019 and, based on her own hard work, has become one of the most accomplished athletes we’ve had the pleasure to coach.
We will miss her as she heads off to the Coast Guard Academy in just a few weeks.
