2023 Southwest Zone Spring Champs (18u/16u)

The Southwest Zone Spring Championships (SWZ Spring Champs) will be two separate tournaments on the weekends on April 29-30 in North Texas (18U/16U Divisions) and May 6-7 in Northwest Houston (14U/12U/10U Divisions). These tournaments will be two day, sanctioned USA Water Polo events with 3-4 all deep courses running simultaneously. Games will begin on Saturday morning, run all day on Saturday/Sunday morning, and then end around 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. All teams are guaranteed to play 4-5 games in a “championship” style format with placing games/awards for all divisions. Below is all the information for both tournaments (separate registration links for each tournament).

SWZ Spring Champs – 18U/16U Divisions:
Dates: April 29-30, 2023. Games will begin on Saturday morning, run all day on Saturday/Sunday morning, and then end around 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon.
Locations:
LISD Westside Aquatic Center, 1750 Duncan Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067. Two all deep courses running simultaneously.
LISD Eastside Aquatic Center, 5729 Memorial Dr, The Colony, TX 75056. Two all deep courses running simultaneously.
Divisions: 18U Boys/Mixed, 18U Girls, 16U Boys/Mixed, 16U Girls
Age as of Date: August 1, 2023, graduating seniors in May 2023 who are 19 will be eligible to participate in the 18U Divisions.
Entry Fee: $650 per team. Payments will be collected when completing the online registration.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11 pm (CT)
Online Team Registration: SWZ Spring Champs – 18U/16U Divisions (must be logged in at the USAWP website to register)
Roster Deadline: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11 pm (CT)
Schedule: An online schedule will be sent to everyone on Monday, April 24th.
Host: The tournament will be hosted by the Southwest Zone and Mavericks Water Polo.
